Supported living for mental health

When someone you care about is living with a mental health condition, finding the right support and the right environment can feel overwhelming.

You want them to be safe, but you also want them to have the chance to recover, to build confidence and to live a life that feels meaningful and their own.

At Almond Care, we have been supporting adults with mental health conditions and associated complexities for many years.

A different kind of support

Mental health conditions rarely follow a predictable path. Needs change, good days are followed by difficult ones and the support that helps most is the support that can flex accordingly.

That is precisely what we provide.

Safe, positive and meaningful

Our aim for every person we support with their mental health is simple: safe, healthy, positive, engaging and meaningful experiences that contribute to recovery, improved quality of life and, where possible, growing independence.

We do not see the people we support as defined by their diagnosis. We see individuals with strengths, interests and potential, and we work alongside them and their families to help that potential be realised.

Integrated, community-based supported living

We provide community-based supported living directly and in partnership with housing providers, ensuring your loved one has a genuine home. Our properties are located in real communities, close to local services and support networks.

We also work collaboratively with other professionals involved in your family member’s care, including mental health teams, GPs and social workers, to make sure the support they receive is joined-up and consistent.

You matter too

Caring for someone with a mental health condition often takes its toll. We recognise the emotional weight that families carry, and we see our relationship with you as a genuine partnership.

We keep lines of communication open, involve you in decisions and make sure you always know how your loved one is doing.
