Acquired and traumatic brain injury care

Brain injury can be either an acquired brain injury (ABI) or a traumatic brain injury (TBI). ABIs are caused by a medical condition such as a stroke or brain tumour, while a TBI is the result of physical trauma, such as an injury.

The complex nature of the brain means that people who with an ABI or TBI can experience a wide range of physical, mental and emotional symptoms. We understand that this can be challenging not only for the individual but also for their loved ones.

We understand that no two brain injuries are the same

We create a fully bespoke care package tailored to each person’s injury, symptoms and lifestyle. So that each client can receive the right care, delivered in the right way.

We work closely with clients and their families to handpick a trained, qualified care team with experience in the specific challenges related to brain injury – including mobility, behavioural challenges and emotional support.

Our goal is to help each client achieve independence and quality of life. We provide support with personal care, mobility, socialising, education, work, travel, hobbies and daily routines.

When recruiting staff for our ABI and TBI clients, we choose people with the clinical skills and knowledge needed to support the emotional and behavioural changes that brain injuries can bring.
